As artists, we often have visions that ignite a spark within us, urging us to bring them to life. These visions might be clear or just a fleeting glimpse, but the drive to execute them is powerful. For me, this was the case with my Flower Goddess shoot. The idea had been simmering in my mind for quite some time, but the chance to bring it to life hadn't presented itself until recently.
The inspiration for this shoot came from a deep-seated love for bright, vibrant flowers. There's something about their colors and the way they can transform a scene that has always captivated me. I envisioned a shoot where these flowers weren't just a background element but a central part of the story, creating an ethereal, goddess-like presence.
As I prepare to close my photography studio and embark on the next chapter of my journey, I felt an overwhelming urge to finally bring this vision to fruition. The timing seemed right, and the idea was burning inside me, demanding to be realized.
The past six months have been a whirlwind. Balancing family responsibilities, my full-time job, and managing #DistrictofCurves has left little room for personal projects or spending time with loved ones beyond my immediate family. It's been a challenge to find time for the things I truly enjoy. That's why this shoot was so special to me. It was a chance to reconnect with my passion and create something purely for the love of art.
I decided to work with Chrystal Vaughn (@tag_piggy) for this project. She came out and joined me in the studio to help make this vision a reality. Her energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and she brought a unique magic to the shoot. I'm incredibly grateful for her collaboration and the beautiful images we created together.
The Flower Goddess shoot is more than just a collection of photos. It's a testament to the importance of following your creative instincts, even when life gets in the way. It's about making time for the things that ignite your soul and bring you joy.
Thank you for joining me on this journey and for supporting my creative endeavors. Remember to always nurture your visions and make time for the things that resonate with you, no matter how busy life gets.
